Supervisor Industrial Janitorial Jobs

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Janitorial Management: 3 years (Required)

3-5 years of experience with janitorial service in manufacturing sites.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Oversee and supervise janitorial operations for manufacturing sites

Meet regularly with janitorial vendor staff to communicate daily priorities

Ensure regulatory and standard health and safety requirements are in place and are being properly administered.

Manage, Modify and maintain all project plans; schedule activities, track time expended, etc…

Assign and delegate responsibilities to subordinates as necessary.

Sound judgement and decision making – Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate decisions

Leadership – Job requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction.

Initiative – Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

2+ years of janitorial and supervisory experience

Active Department of Defense (DOD) clearance

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

A minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably at the supervisory level

Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor (buffers) and shampoo machines including attachments

Resolve on-site services delivery problems.

Hours 8:30am to 5:30pm (1.00 hour lunch)

High school diploma or GED is preferred

2+ years of janitorial and supervisory experience

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JANITORIAL SUPERVISOR

High school diploma or equivalent

Active Department of Defense (DOD) clearance

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ensure that janitorial work and floor projects are completed within required standards.

Ability to lead and supervise 8-10 associates.

Ability to be standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.

Hours: 2nd and 3rd shifts available with rotating weekends

5 years combined education, janitorial operations, and/or management experience

Experience working or volunteering with persons with disabilities and/or diverse populations is preferred

Experience in a clinical or health cleaning industry is preferred

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

Some knowledge of contracts preferred

Strong skills in Microsoft 365 office

Pay: $36,430.00 - $80,270.00 per year
