What to Expect
Reporting to the Janitorial Associate Manager, Workplace, the Janitorial Supervisor’s primary role is to oversees supervisions of janitorial operations for fast-paced manufacturing company. The Janitorial Supervisor will work with Project Managers and Janitorial Associate Manager to collect data for the purpose of optimizing WP programs and initiatives; to identify Key Performance Indicators and relevant data points directed towards improving employee experience at Tesla facilities; to develop procedures to assist in the continued implementation of Workplace Programs and to use these procedures to provide support to the onsite Workplace Operations teams.
What You’ll Do

• Implement, monitor, and enforce adherence to quality and safety policies including onsite safety and quality audits
• Assist with the creation and implementation of standards in partnership with other Bay Area sites to ensure continuity throughout the Operations team
• Complete inspections of janitorial equipment and supplies to ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and stakeholders across the organization
• Oversee and supervise janitorial operations for manufacturing sites
• Meet regularly with janitorial vendor staff to communicate daily priorities
• Represent Tesla in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company

What You’ll Bring

• 2-3 years of managerial experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 3-5 years of experience with janitorial service in manufacturing sites.
• Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including days, nights, or weekend
• Schedule : Night Shift Sunday – Thursday Holidays and Weekend Availability
• Direct relevant experience not required; however, a demonstrated ability to take initiative and a drive to learn new processes, procedures, software, and systems is mandatory
• Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
