Supervisor Dietary Jobs in Missouri

Orients, trains and oversees assigned personnel, under the direction of the supervisor or manager to include, but not limited to

Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire. Recertification required every 3 years.

2 years of Healthcare/Medical - Healthcare - Other with Dietary experience

Knowledge of dietary routines and sanitation procedures.

Incumbent must demonstrate competence per the position’s Skills Checklist before being allowed to perform independently.

Evaluates new products, services and equipment;

Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper lifting techniques and safety precautions

Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper use and storage of potentially hazardous cleaning products.

Receives department deliveries from vendors, separates products, and distributes to appropriate storage areas.

Stores product according to established standards to ensure food safety.

Rotates stock and ensures proper FIFO procedures are followed. Monitors expiration dates and disposes of outdated product.

Collects trash from work areas and transports to collection bins for removal to dock.
