Undergraduate degree in related field (Construction Management, Paralegal, Law, Business), or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be able to clearly communicate with field personnel, field supervisors, and upper management

Guided by Manager of Trade Licensing, research state statutes and regulations related to individual trade licensing

Minimum 5 years of high-level administrative experience, preferably in a legal setting. Paralegal or retired attorney a plus

Paralegal Degree or Certification or J.D. a plus

Must possess excellent verbal, written, and personal communication skills

Possess a B.A./B.S. in MIS, Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent in education and experience

5-8 years’ experience in Knowledge Construction, Point of Sale systems, and connectivity preferred

Experience managing multiple third-party service providers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

2-3 years’ supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge of installation and cabling standards.

Provide expert Licensing Services to MetLife and its subsidiary companies and broker dealers

2+ years of experience in administration, compliance, risk management, human resources, legal, or gaming.

Support the global licensing program by working directly with employees to prepare and maintain occupational licensing applications and other requirements.

Communicate with state regulators and maintain a partnership to accomplish licensing requirements.

Complete regulatory licensing requirements as applicable with minimal oversight.

Research licensing requirements and provide guidance on the application of regulations.

Paralegal or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Manages customized reports to track application deadlines and deliverables.

1 - 2 years of solar, construction, or financial services related licensing experience

Experience using Salesforce, Adobe, and Smartsheets

Experience working directly with internal partners.

Strong collaboration skill, and written and verbal communication.

Strong presentation skills and ability to present information to groups of people in a remote setting

1+ years of licensing experience

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Assist with carrier certifications and updating agent profiles in licensing systems

Lead Carrier Certification trainings during New Employee Orientation and/or Training

Work in a dynamic team environment

Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; at least 2 years relevant experience will be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree

3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred

Experience in IT field, IT Help desk preferred by not required

Experience in pharmacy technician, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, electronics, electrical, or technical work is beneficial for this position
