    Our Global Compliance & Risk team is searching for a Licensing Specialist to assist with expanding licensing and registration activities. In this role, you’ll support the process of obtaining, maintaining, renewing, and tracking gaming licenses for DraftKings employees. You will support our employees through the licensing process and contribute to our innovative and robust global compliance and risk team.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A LICENSING SPECIALIST:

    • Document and update processes and procedures.
    • Communicate with state regulators and maintain a partnership to accomplish licensing requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with employees and internal business partners by providing periodic updates regarding license status, including outstanding items.
    • Research licensing requirements and provide guidance on the application of regulations.
    • Support the global licensing program by working directly with employees to prepare and maintain occupational licensing applications and other requirements.
    • Complete regulatory licensing requirements as applicable with minimal oversight.
    • Prepare and analyze reports for submission to compliance leadership and regulators regarding occupational licensing.
    • Work efficiently both independently and with collaboration of a team.
    • Maintain established filing and tracking systems as well as innovate by establishing improvements to current processes.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

    • Eager to innovate processes and procedures with fresh ideas and forward thinking.
    • Paralegal or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
    • Strong track record of learning, understanding, and interpreting new laws, rules, and regulations a plus.
    • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and changes in scope or direction.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet is strongly preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with superb attention to detail and accuracy. #LI-CG3
    • 2+ years of experience in administration, compliance, risk management, human resources, legal, or gaming.

    As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $73,600.00 - $110,400.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
