Basic Job Function and Responsibilities

13-week assignments at premium rate of $75/hr for up to 72 hours per pay period.

Integrates assessment data and formulates an individualized nursing diagnosis according to the Department of Nursing’s policies and procedures.

Administers prescribed treatments and medications promptly according to hospital policies and procedures.

Recognizes and questions unsafe, incorrect or inadequate orders. Intervenes to clarify patient order.

Anticipates and takes proper action in emergency and complex patient care situations.

Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other tracking and reporting systems like Salesforce

Prior experience working in Human Resources, Staffing, or Recruiting is preferred

Exceptionally strong interpersonal verbal/written skills

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines under pressure while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail

Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required

Uses basic computer skills for data entry.

Basic Computer skills, including the knowledge and ability to use Windows, Word and Excel required and

Uses basic problem-solving skills to identify where staff are allocated to meet the staffing needs of units supported by staffing office.

Uses critical thinking skills to anticipate staffing needs for the areas supported by the staffing office.

Experience working in a fast-paced medical environment with the ability to identify priorities, work independently, problem solve and multi-task preferred

Utilizes staffing technology to allocate staff to meet the healthcare facility needs.

Completion of state-approved CNA education and training program.

Excellent observation and communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of Resident’s Bill of Rights.

Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the assisted living

Provide clerical support to the nursing department

Serve as a mentor and key trainer to newly hired Nursing Assistants

Must be able to work in a Labor-Management Partnership environment.

Authorizes and offers overtime as instructed by Department Administrator as necessary for the efficiency of business operations.

Minimum two (2) years of clerical experience

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Comprehensive knowledge of local union contracts.

Calculates the daily staffing needs for each department.
