Base Salary Range: $61,600-$88K (USD)

Collaborating with systems engineers, hardware stakeholders, and software stakeholders to establish performance requirements for various systems in the autonomous vehicle

Evaluating supplier technology offerings for glazings, various first surface implementations, and sensor cleaning systems

10+ years of industry experience

Experience with optics, lens fundamentals, and/or optical coatings

Experience working with sensors such as visible spectrum cameras, thermal cameras, and lidar

Experienced in Python test automation libraries and industry tools.

Deep knowledge of firmware development life cycle, software in the loop, hardware in the loop (HIL)

Experienced in version control (Git) and continuous integration.

Test driven development experience using unit testing, automation testing, software in the loop, and hardware in the loop methodologies.

Good communication skills in English.

Previous working experience with building automation infrastructure such as Robot framework.

In depth FA capabilities and strong analytical skill.

First level FA and generate Jira per requirements.

Experience in working with cross-functional teams both domestically and internationally.

Good communication and presentation skill.

Experience of working with OEM suppliers and customers is a plus.

Lead selection and analysis of LCD modules to meet customer requirements

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Perform end-to-end optical design and analysis for business opportunities

Lead efforts and problem-solving during testing of flat panel displays across the range of luminance, chromaticity, NVIS compliance and artifact resolution

Perform modification of flat panel displays including LCD’s and OLED’s to enhance their basic performance

Perform NVIS compliance, luminance and chromaticity testing using a variety of test equipment including OL-770 or equivalent devices

1-3 years of fiber test experience including documentation of test results and work procedures.

Testing will be carried out on standard fiber optic industry equipment and well as internally developed test stands.

Work directly with the technical staff to analyze test data.

High School diploma or GED required

Positive attitude, team oriented work ethic, ability to work independently with little supervision, and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work extended working hours if needed.

Experience with ultrafast (mode locked) lasers, working knowledge of dispersion theory and pulse compression

Relevant project experience managing, requirements, cost, schedule and delivery of complex systems

Integrate various timing sub-systems together and deliver system to meet high level requirements.

Working knowledge of laser technology such as fiber lasers, diode lasers, diode pumped solid-state lasers and/or semiconductor lasers

Experience with standard optical components, optical design, and beam propagation

Experience with non-linear optics (difference/sum frequency and second harmonic generation)

Optical alignment and test experience desired

Experience using standard hand tools – allen wrenches, screw drivers, torque wrenches, etc.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a progressive manufacturing industry is preferred

Assemble opto-mechanical assemblies by using assembly drawings and assembly procedures

Work with assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, height gages, and dial indicators

Align and test optical systems using interferometry, alignment telescope, and optical inspection devices.

Experience programming in C++, MATLAB, Python, or Java

Previous experience with telescopes or other optical systems is desired

B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant technical field.

Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and develop strong working relationships

2 year+ reverent industry / academic experience with component characterization.

Experience with high-speed RF characterization tools and methods and optical testing.

Good experience in automation software languages (Python, VB.Net, Matlab, Labview or others)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3+ years of experience with component test and evaluation.

Hands-on experience with coherent communication system and link testing.
