Staff Nurse Nicu Jobs in Kansas

Collaborates with the database manager to ensure data entered meets the requirements of the database.

Mental and Emotional Requirements: Manages stress appropriately.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience: Three years of nursing experience relevant to assignment. Prior experience with clinical data or research data preferred.

Certification(s): BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire.

Performs daily screening, data abstraction and data entry of new patients admitted and discharged

1 year of recent professional NICU and/or Pediatrics nursing (RN) experience

Certification in area of clinical specialty

Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health

Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care

Alleviating suffering through nursing interventions and prescribed treatments

Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
