Staff Network Engineer Jobs

Knowledge of WAN technologies: OC-X, Ethernet, MPLS, SONET Knowledge of Public DNS Knowledge of Network Management (SNMP, MIB)

Knowledge of Systems Management/Monitoring – SolarWinds, MRTG, PRTG, Cisco Prime

Knowledge of Remote Access Platforms, such as Cisco AnyConnect, Netskope Private Access, and Secure Web Gateway

A top-notch network engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a team player.

Knowledge of Wireless technologies (802.11a/b/g/n, WPA2, WLC, WAP)

Knowledge of Virtual Servers and VMWare environment

Implement customer-focused abstractions that simplify and standardize the way we offer our cloud services, topologies and implementations.

At least 8+ years software engineering experience in industry

Has hands-on experience with Layer 4-7 networking protocols, such as TCP/UDP load balancing, SSL/TLS termination, and HTTP/HTTPS traffic management.

Is experienced with Docker and Kubernetes.

Has working knowledge of related internet protocols such as DNS, LDAP, NTP, SMTP, etc.

Has strong communication skills and empathy for customers.

Experienced in Project and Program Management

Maintain and improve current global computer asset management processes.

Strong experience in Transfer to Operations (TTO) requirements and processes

Interface with regional support teams to capture requirements and issues.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 8 years

Broad knowledge of IT disciplines including compute, network and storage platforms

Experience working with remotely to both physical and cloud-provider (Microsoft Azure) data centers

Partner with stakeholders to drive down vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies

Where needed, report information upstream in accordance with security requirements

Strong coordination and troubleshooting skills while handling complex network security incidents and escalations

Good understanding of and have recent experience with the following network technologies: Load Balancing, BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS and SNMP

Deep, hands-on experience with TCP/IP (common packet headers, protocol innerworkings, both IPv4 and IPv6)

Experience working with remotely to both physical and cloud-provider (Microsoft Azure) data centers

Partner with stakeholders to drive down vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
