Staff Cloud Engineer Jobs

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in software development and data structures/algorithms.

5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

5 years of experience building and developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

Organizational, time management and planning skills

Stay abreast of new solution offerings and the ability to communicate the business benefits of these solution offerings to leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field, or 5 to 8 years’ experience, or combination of both

5 to 8 years’ experience with:

Experience in network monitoring, debug, and administration tools

Experience working with firewall and loadbalancer configurations for presenting external access to single tenant applications

Experience in threat detection, monitoring, log management, incident response, and forensics.

Experience in IAM, secrets management, encryption technologies, OS security hardening, SaaS services hardening, and container security.

Design and manage security monitoring and threat detection systems for cloud environments.

Develop incident response tools/capabilities and lead forensics investigations.

Support compliance/certification activities and participate in security audits/reviews.

BS/MS in computer science/engineering or equivalent work experience.

Practice of modern software Engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing and releasing,

Knowledgeable of Amazon Web Services including but not limited to Lambda, ECS, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge

5+ years relevant experience as an information technology professional in roles such as Software engineer, Technical lead and DevSecOps lead.

Experience operating in a DevOps Environment

Experience with Infrastructure code methodologies like Terraform and CloudFormation

Experience with AWS Cloud experience in production environment

Excellent programming skills and a profound technical understanding of different application architectures.

5+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale , distributed applications in a multi-cloud environment.

5+ years scripting experience in Python or Go

5+ years’ experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and various strategies for deploying clusters through automation .

5+ years extensive experience with automation tools including Terraform, Pulumi , ARM templates, or similar IaC tooling.

5+ years’ experience with observability toolsets (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
