Communication with the Project Manager, fabrication shops, contractors, and other third parties to resolve schedule issues;

Ensure that the services provided are performed in accordance with the project requirements and contract with the client;

Ability to work remotely from the established Bureau Veritas offices;

A WORLD LEADER IN TESTING, INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION SERVICES

Communicate information from the fabrication facility regarding upcoming assignments and potential work that Bureau Veritas could perform; and

Maintain a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, the fabrication facility, and the client

A current American Welding Society (AWS) CWI certification, or ability to obtain with 6 months of hire.

Certification/ Registration Required - American Welding Society (AWS) CWI certification

A good safety and driving record.

Is comfortable using a computer and smart phone.

Able to successfully pass security background checks and drug screenings required by clients.

Participate in periodic audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality management systems.

Perform inspections of welded structures, components, and welder qualifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Review welding procedures and related documentation to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Witness and document welder qualification tests, ensuring adherence to proper techniques and standards.

Collaborate with welding personnel, engineers, and project managers to address welding-related issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend corrective actions.

Current and valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from a recognized certification body (e.g., American Welding Society - AWS).

Additional consideration will be given for Military and/or technical experience.

Previous experience in Quality, Inspection or Maintenance in Pharmaceutical or Semiconductor industries is a plus but not required.

Assist the Customer in identifying and solving quality problems and perform all necessary and assigned tasks.

Participate in Pre-Planning and Site-Specific Programs.

Once trained, have technical understanding of process gas systems and hazards associated with working around chemicals.

Technicians will be required to walk several miles per day and transport precision testing equipment using a 4-wheel hand cart.

Manages the quality program records

Attends pre-bid and pre-construction, pre-activity, and weekly QAQC meetings with subcontractors to discuss project requirements and explain expectations and requirements

CWI certification required, prefer a George Fisher certification as well

Minimum of 2-3 years or more experience in Semiconductor construction QA/QC role

Ability to read and understand plans specifications, codes, and contract requirements

QA/QC including inspecting and documenting in the quality record regarding Process Piping and Plastics inspection

AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.

NDE Certification is a plus.

Knowledge of welding and steel fabrication processes.

Conduct inspections of materials and finished products, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

Follow procedures, codes, standards, and specifications during inspections.

Report and handle non-conforming products or activities according to company procedures.
