Software Operations Engineer Jobs

Proficient skills and knowledge of Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel, Outlook – is required.

High School diploma and related experience and/or training required.

College degree and/or equivalent experience with system development life cycle support desirable.

Experience in creating and maintaining data in Quadient transactional mainframe systems and in cloud-based or ancillary system platforms.

Ability to use analytical and communication skills effectively to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations and SLAs.

Experience with and awareness of Quadient data and functionality in Oracle, OLM, ATLAS, Salesforce.com, Zuora and SAP is highly desirable.

This position typically reports to Software Engineer Manager or Sr. Manager

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Experience working with large remote operated systems (UAVs, spacecraft, etc)

Knowledge of basic systems engineering practicesExperience with wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD

Professional or academic experience in developing user-facing software

Flight experience or in-depth understanding of operations in the National Airspace System

Experience with safety-critical software engineering processes & teams

Significant previous experience working with FAA or similar government body

Knowledge of cognitive engineering and user experience design principles.

Work directly with engineers, operators, and crew to craft aesthetically and functionally flawless operator experiences.

Conduct goal-directed task analyses, user stories, and process engineering to develop software requirements.

2+ years of experience in web development or software engineering (internships and school projects qualify).

Experience in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and/or CSS.

Knowledge of HTTP requests, API structures (REST), and HTTP authentication techniques.

Excellent communication skills and experience supporting technical and non-technical users.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and develop solutions.

Experience supporting the system architecture of both JIRA Cloud and Server instances

Experience using JIRA Rest API and scripting/automation in JIRA

Strong critical thinking and strategic planning skills

Create and configure projects with workflows, issue types, screens, associated schemes and other elements typical of a highly customized JIRA system.

Excellent knowledge of Perl; experience with Java will be considered an asset

Extensive understanding and experience with core programming languages, Linux operating systems.

Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB

Experience with an Application Server such as Tomcat

Maintains existing codebases and applies upgrades to CCBill’s existing product lines.

Constant learning of CCBill’s existing product lines.
