Supports and provides leadership for incident management of all injuries.

Provide support and guidance to management regarding federal and state compliance regulations and monitors regulatory changes as they occur.

Associate degree in Safety Management, industrial hygiene, or social sciences, preferred

Provide ongoing employee education including facilitation with monthly safety meetings and training.

Minimum 5 + years of professional safety experience in warehouse and manufacturing industry

Minimum 5 years management experience and 10 years HSE experience

Manage all HSE activities within the operational context (i.e., ensure plans, tools, and processes are in place to allow for success).

Facilitate and coordinate HSE training that addresses strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and growth of individuals.

Experience in transforming safety culture,

Professional certification is a plus (i.e., CSP, CIH, etc.),

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capability,

Ensures the company meets legal requirements and government reporting regulations.

Assists managers with recruiting, interviewing, screening, and hiring qualified employees to fill vacant positions.

Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.

Three years of relevant HR and HSE experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with DOT regulation is preferred.

Reliable and personable; enjoy working with diverse individuals and ensuring employee requirements and needs are met first.

Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

A knowledge of and ability with leadership skills including mediation skills

Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

Skills demonstrating the capability to run a medium to large project

Strong presentation skills including public speaking

Strong Management Operating System (MOS) administration

Working knowledge of basic computer skills

8+ years of progressive experience in HSE

Strong oral and written communication skills

Record of progressive HS&E experience

Significant experience in HSE field

Knowledge in HSE Management System and creating and updating policies and procedures in accordance with Company and Regulatory Guidelines.

Work with all Area Management to support all Region and Company HSE goals.

Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Have a thorough knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles and best practices.

Minimum of 8 years work experience within HSE or related equivalent function.

Experience of implementation, development or auditing of management systems; OHSAS 18001/ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO14001, ISO9001

Support and implement robust risk management systems.

Chair HSE committee meetings and conduct periodical management reviews.

Management of internal HSE audits and external compliance audit programme, supporting 5S audits.

Support managers to secure meaningful employee involvement in HSE.

Work together with site leadership on budget and finance planning as per site strategy.

Attend the Contractors’ preconstruction kick-off meetings to discuss overall safety requirements of the Contractor as it relates to JV’s safety program.

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in a similar leadership role in managing Construction Health and Safety

Demonstrated experience as change agent, influencing construction/HSE behaviors for the better

Demonstrated and successful experience in making objective and positive improvements in safety

Strong interpersonal and communications skills to engage with multiple stakeholders including owner, contractors, A/E’s, JV staff, etc.

Coordinate with program staff to ensure that adequate safety resources and PPE are available and used properly to support project safety.

Working knowledge of basic computer skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Record of progressive HS&E experience

Significant experience in HSE&F field

Progressive experience in Facilities programs

Experience in successfully leading a team
