Duration: 06+ Months contract with strong extension possibility

•Hands-on operation of equipment needed for downstream process development, including experimental design,

Detail-oriented, with good organizational, prioritization, and time management proficiencies. Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

BS or MS with 1-2 years of experience (Associate Scientist) or PhD (Scientist) in cell biology, molecular biology or related discipline.

Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.

Experience in executing and analyzing experiments.

Strong communication skills. Able to work both independently and in a team environment

Experience with multicolor flow cytometry is a plus.

·Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills.

·Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation for RNA-seq, DNA-seq, 10x Genomics assays.

·Extensive experience with molecular biology software such as SnapGene or Geneious.

·Experience with plasmid transfection of cultured mammalian cells.

·Experience with genomic DNA and RNA purification from various mammalian cell lines and primary cells.

·Passion for organization and experience with sample tracking and maintenance of reagent registries

Hands-on experience conducting in vivo studies involving behavioral analysis, intracranial electrode implantation, electrophysiological measurements, EEG data evaluation and analysis is required

Hands-on experience in molecular and biochemical assays including DNA/RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, and ELISA, in situ hybridization preferred but not required

Ability to work independently with strong sense of self-motivation, excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail is required

Strong communication skills required (oral and written)

Perform behavioral studies and EEG experiments to assess treatment efficacy of compounds.

Independent analysis and interpretation of data, careful documentation of experiments and presentation of results within the company.
