3Rd Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician Jobs in Ohio

Comprehensive knowledge of the operation, capabilities, & limitations of complex controls/instrumentation.

Updates the computerized maintenance management system, SAP-PM, as necessary to maintain accurate plant asset historical records.

Performs other tasks and special assignments as requested by management.

Skill in troubleshooting controls and instrumentation problems on production equipment.

Must possess knowledge and apply electrical standards, including National Electrical Code and UL508a.

Must have working knowledge of data network, switches, routers and servers is required.

Test, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and communicate with Maintenance Department or Production Management.

Industrial Maintenance experience is required which may include Skilled Trades programs or Military

Three to five years of mechanical or electrical experience

Physical requirements - lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing up to 100 lbs

Installation, disassembly, repair and reassembly of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, mechanical drives or other mechanical equipment/machinery.

Replace/repair faulty components of machine such as relays, printed circuit boards, switches, motors and adjusts mechanical parts as necessary.

Maintains Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate & thorough data.

Working knowledge of existing laws and operational requirements set forth by governing agencies.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Knowledgeable of the N.E.C., O.S.H.A. guidelines, electrical/electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) and programmable controllers.

Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and take initiative on specific issues.

The position is a 3rd shift position, 9:30PM to 6AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Comprehensive computer knowledge and skills required.

Responsible for research, follow up, troubleshooting, as pertaining to prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.

Focus on customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers

Current national/state pharmacy certification preferred but not required.

Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge required.

Learn the basics of equipment operations to support familiarization of facility and operations equipment, including regular maintenance activities

Execute general maintenance “GM” activities at the facility level such as repair needs in office areas, bathrooms, building and grounds, etc.

Execute routine, defined inspections or setups such as those activities for:

Performs laboratory work according to prescribed standards.

Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition.

Sets up, adjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.

Collects and analyzes samples. Performs simple laboratory tests according to prescribed standards.

Tests samples to verify conformity to specifications. Records test results and writes test reports describing procedures used.

Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.

Strong mathematical skills with attention to detail

Good oral and written communication skills

Experience with color analysis and adjustment

Make batch adjustments based on standardized procedures and guidelines

Test raw materials based on standardized procedures; perform gage R & R studies; and complete other functions that may be assigned.

Ability to work 1st shift immediately

Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting

Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility

Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability/prior experience reading technical manuals/materials and developing statements of work

Intermediate to advanced computer skills

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals.

Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and local codes.

Basic knowledge of arc flash standards.

Ability to plan installations based on requirements listed on machine name plates.

Salary - up to $35/hour based on experience
