Plant DJ -Maintenance Technician B/C/D - 3rd shift
Position Overview
Shaw Industries is looking to hire and train a Tech Reliability who will play n important role in the manufacture and distribution of a variety of flooring solutions for our residential and commercial customers. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, interested in learning various skills, and who enjoy problem-solving.
We are currently looking to fill a 3rd shift opening. This position can be filled as a Level B, C or D based on experience. Opportunities available are on 3rd shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend safety meetings to include 1st day back and stretching
  • Support PRIDE goals
  • Repetitive parts changes not requiring precision measurement and part quality checks.
  • Safety & Environmental inspection and reporting
  • Execute routine, defined inspections or setups such as those activities for:
  • Follow all Company Safety Guidelines and Rules
  • Comply with all company policies
  • Execute general maintenance “GM” activities at the facility level such as repair needs in office areas, bathrooms, building and grounds, etc.
  • Collection and recording of key operational data such as utility meter readings
  • Learn the basics of equipment operations to support familiarization of facility and operations equipment, including regular maintenance activities
