Experienced Retail/ Restaurant/ Commercial Construction Superintendent with 5-10 years of experience in directly related field

Experience with building veterinary clinics/ hospitals a plus

Experience with luxury retail a plus

Ground Up and TI experience

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading construction teams.

Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

Oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.

Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including foremen, tradespeople, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.

Organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Manage jobsite documentation sets & to ensure all subs are updated and understand the drawings

Plan inspections and manage job card

Anticipate and resolve on-site issues and emergencies; escalate to the Construction Manager for support as needed

5-10 years experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role

Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites

Associates Degree in Construction Management or similar field, completion of field apprenticeship program, or documented equivalent experience.

Enter daily reports into project management software, including progress photos.

Proficiency with project management software such as Projectmates, Procore, Prolog Manager, or similar tools.

Support the Project Manager with pre-construction planning.

Coordination with approving agencies to confirm site requirements prior to mobilization.

Attend OAC meetings and support the Project Manager with information distribution and action items.
