• Quality Assurance and Safety:
• Conduct safety audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Construction Site Supervision:
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project coordination and collaboration.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to local building codes, permits, and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess progress, identify quality concerns, and address any safety hazards.
• Monitor and control project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Provide on-site supervision and direction to construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Act as a liaison between the project team, clients, architects, engineers, and other relevant parties, fostering strong relationships and managing expectations.
• Develop detailed construction plans and schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve construction-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Project Management:
• Team Leadership and Communication:
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
• Promote and maintain a culture of safety on construction sites, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
• Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including foremen, tradespeople, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, including pre-construction and progress meetings, to ensure alignment and communication among all project stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.

The Successful Applicant

• Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of building codes, permits, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading construction teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
