Senior Strategic Finance Analyst Jobs in California

2-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or CPG finance is a plus.

Prior experience at a rapidly scaling startup or remote working environment is a plus.

Lead the preparation and completion of any modeling needed for strategic decisions across all functions (sales/DTC, supply chain, marketing).

Advanced analytical skills, including expertise in Excel and knowledge of SQL and BI tools (Looker preferred)

4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity or venture capital, preferably with a focus on software & internet

4+ years of experience performing financial analysis, strategy or data analytics at a tech company

Meticulous presentation skills with a penchant for illustrating quantitative and qualitative information clearly and aesthetically

Bottoms-up, cohorted subscription revenue financial modeling experience

Project Finance acquisition, management or transaction experience preferred.

Analyse market risk factors, pricing and risk management products, including hedges.

Assist with structured finance product development, including developing structural solutions for tax equity investments.

Advanced degree and/or CFA certification is optional.

BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other course of study

Understanding and knowledge of real estate fundamentals and terminology

Support sales throughout the end-to-end sales process for complex transactions to ensure deals are in alignment with Company objectives

Gather, evaluate, and summarize market data (i.e. rents, vacancies, absorption, etc.) to inform real estate and sales decisions

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science Engineering or related field

Effective problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, strategic thinking

Effective communication and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis and recommendations to stakeholders

Collaborate with business teams across the organization, including Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Growth, Marketing, etc. on a variety of strategic projects

Assist in preparation of board of director and investor relations materials

Ability to comfortably handle ambiguity and make decisions

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative/analytical disciplines. An MBA or CPA is a plus but not a requirement

Strong financial modeling skills, especially income statement and cash flow analysis.

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
