Competitive annual salary ($95,000 to $130,000) based on experience and skills.

A background in Systems Engineer, requirements, verification and integration will be hugely beneficial.

Prior Space experience, whilst useful, is NOT a necessity.

However experience in a safety critical industry is, e.g. biomedical devices, defense, military, automotive, aerospace, etc.

Familiarity with engineering specifications (requirements, interface documents) and other engineering data

Experience working in Agile frameworks

Perform analysis and decomposition of system and subsystem requirements, maintains requirement configuration control.

Applies basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned routine engineering problems.

We offer a 9x80 work schedule where you will have every other Friday off.

Previous experience using DOORs, MagicDraw is desired.

Supports design and development of space system, segment and satellite subsystem design, integration and test.

Use SysML and Magic Draw to provide inputs to and develop system models for the complete system.

Support the Project Manager in the technical management of Subcontractor and Vendor activities.

Strong, hands-on experience in material processes, hardware development and certification.

NASA flight hardware certification experience.

Define test and program requirements and conduct negotiations and/or exchanges as may be deemed necessary.

Use engineering techniques and judgement, based on experience, to work complex problems requiring in depth analysis and evaluation.

Excellent analysis, design, systems, and math skills.

DAWIA Level II Certification in Systems Engineering or Program Management, or equivalent, or ability to achieve in 24 months

DAWIA Program Management Level III Certification, or equivalent

Manages issues and risks to balance lifecycle cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Minimum two years of government acquisition experience or equivalent.

Knowledge of GEOINT spacecraft design concepts

Experience with NRO programs, Space and Ground Architectures, processes and operations

Lead relevant Aerospace Engineering & Technology Group (ETG) program support and keep management informed of ETG contributions

Identify critical space system resilience-enabling technologies and manage associated technology maturation and risk reduction (TMRR) efforts in preparation for system implementation

Experience presenting results, concepts, and technical content to internal customers, external customers and collaborators possessing diverse technical backgrounds

Experience building and maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with internal and external organizations such as customer, Aerospace, contractors, or related

Experience with coordinating matrixed engineering support and/or technical domain experts (e.g. ETG personnel)

Experience with MILSATCOM systems integration

Experience with satellite power subsystem test verification (electrical/mechanical/harness interfaces, functional checkouts, and development of verification reports to ensure requirement compliance)

Experience developing and verifying interface control documentation and requirements specification for complex systems like electric vehicles, satellites, and launch vehicles

Excellent skill at organizing data and communicating key requirements to teammates and external customers

3+ years of experience in electrical design, power testing, system integration for complex systems

Electrical design experience in the area of electric vehicle, drones, robotics, satellite, or launch vehicles

Experience with design or test of power electronics, data acquisition systems, battery charging, solar array, and communication busses

Bring engineering rigor to resolution of problems that are sometimes loosely- or only partially-defined, requiring knowledge and experience within given discipline.

Advanced Degree preferable or minimum of 2 years of experience required

Experience working in a laboratory is preferred (performing testing and experiments).

Strong computer skills, proficiency in using LINUX (capable of running jobs using super-computers) and proficiency in computer programming/coding.

Experience with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customer communities and project management practices

3 years experience as a project manager or equivalent delivering high-complexity space systems

Senior Program Managers support strategy development for future, related space missions

8 years experience engineering or equivalent developing high-complexity space systems

Experience leading major proposal efforts

Excellent leadership and inter-personal skills

Bonus/nice to have: experience with ARCHIBUS or other CAFM system

Managing pre-design/concept development and generating functional space programs

Identifying interdependencies among ongoing and planned facilities projects that determine the critical pathways to their successful completion

Tactical planning to recommend mission-appropriate allocations for program expansion, development or relocations that optimize operations and institutional space utilization

Leading and protecting MSK’s commercial real estate related business needs and interests.

Lead informal and formal system architecture, requirements, functional, design, mission ready reviews, including development of entrance and success criteria

Serve as project technical point of contact and cost account manager
