Previous experience in radiation safety.

Typical duties include (but are not limited to):

• Estimating, engineering, and design analysis for new and retrofit switchyard and substation projects up to 765kV.

• Perform calculations such as short circuit, voltage drop, circuit ampacities, etc.

• Monitor budget and schedule for assigned tasks.

• Independently works through individual projects and/or plays key role in broader projects.

• Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Minimum Salary: US Dollar (USD) 47,500

Midpoint Salary: US Dollar (USD) 81,000

Maximum Salary : US Dollar (USD) 115,500

FLSA: exempt and not eligible for overtime pay

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.

One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.

Removes clutter and ensures safe, clear egress to emergency exits.

Provides great Customer service by prominently greeting Customers, making eye contact, smiling and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner.

Assist Radiation Protection management with training and qualification programs of others.

Participate in personnel dosimetry program management activities, including computerized database handling and documentation of dosimetry systems.

Ability to effectively communicate with Shop operating personnel, Shop supervisors, and upper layers of management and outside auditors (i.e., regulatory agencies).

Mental capability to successfully recognize, interpret, and check written regulatory requirements and work with complex teams.

Ability to demonstrate above average written skills to meet required documentation of radiation survey results, incident investigation reports, etc.

NRRPT or American Academy of Health Physics certification; or

Oversees the radiation exposure monitoring program of Radiation Management staff.

Experience beyond the Minimum Requirements.
