Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders.

Excellent communicator - able to effectively deliver findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling fashion

Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-day

Here’s What We're Looking For

Work closely with Product Managers focused on specialized Datadog product areas.

Build and maintain dashboards and actionable visualizations to help Product Managers across Datadog make strategic, data-driven product decisions.

You have experience working with large product data sets and have either used or are interested in learning dbt and Python

Build and maintain data transformations and surface high-value data via Metabase, our Business Intelligence tool.

Run deep data analyses and investigations and participate in hypothesis-driven research into internal data.

Be an active part of the Product Analytics council and the Datadog-wide community of Data Analysts.

Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization

Work in close collaboration with product, engineering, design, research and marketing partners to develop rich, intuitive, and valuable user experiences

Interview agents, sales managers, regional leads, and other stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize the problems they face

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to the cross-platform search experience

Strong technical and data background, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience

Prepare and present periodic progress updates to leadership and agents

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management through various channels

Work with cross-functional teams, including product development and Operations, to ensure a seamless client experience

Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, training materials, and high-level product requirements

Manage Gateway settings, configurations, and user accesses

Gather, prioritize, and document requirements for Digital Payments projects

Knowledge of financial operations, payment processing, and merchant on-boarding

Strong SQL skills; experience with Python, R or a similar programming language is a plus

5+ years experience as an analyst or in a quantitative role

Experience with one or more of the following Product Analytics Tools (Heap, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Segment)

Building deep knowledge of internal & external data sources

5+ years experience working as a Data scientist/Data analyst

Applied experience with funnel analyses and using in-app event based data

Experience using AB testing tools such as Optimizely, Launch Darkly etc. is a plus
