Experience with sustainability, energy management and carbon accounting

Proven collaboration skills, administrative ability, technical background, and project responsibility experience

Report and manage Mastercard’s Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG Emissions

Support data requirements for other climate initiatives including but not limited to TCFD, SEC and other financial mechanisms

Manage and maintain Mastercard’s online environmental sustainability platform

Familiarity with interval data, meter readings, unit conversions, local and international green certification, energy efficiency programs and sustainability organizations

5+ years experience in investment banking, strategic finance or management consulting

Ability to effectively work with peers and different levels of management

Strong communication skills, detail oriented, can work in flexible environments

Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or related business field

Experience with SQL and Snowflake

Experience with software, internet, or financial technology industry

Produce investment presentations and approval memos for senior management and executive board meetings.

Advanced Excel skills with strong financial analysis and valuation modelling abilities.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and flair for presenting analysis clearly and creatively.

Exceptional research and data analysis capabilities with ability to analyze large data sets and create models for quantitative analyses.

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills necessary for developing effective business relationships both within and outside the company.

Analyze and distil tariff options and trajectories across utility territories of interest

Analyze relevant policies impacting energy sourcing strategy, including net metering, green tariffs, community solar programs, virtual PPA opportunities, etc.
