Starting an IT PMO from scratch; ability to drive process transformation across multiple departments of a mid scale technology organization

Manage and run the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office (PMO), including

Product expertise using and building up, project management tools like JIRA, Planview, Smartsheet or alike.

Business Requirements Gathering and Solutions

Responsible to work with business to manage intake, ideation, scoping and governance planning.

Experience setting up and running a PMO for a mid-large size IT organization.

10 years of experience delivering large scale complex IT projects and programs for the business.

· PMP or other Project Management certification preferred

Develop and implement project management tools and software, including project management software, scheduling tools, and other project-related software.

· Lead Managers and Team members to conduct project audits in coordination with Finance.

Coordinate project resources, including project managers, technical experts, and other staff, to ensure that project objectives are met.

Eight (8) years’ experience in a PMO leadership

Proven experience leading and managing PMO teams

· PMP or other Project Management certification preferred

Develop and implement project management tools and software, including project management software, scheduling tools, and other project-related software.

· Lead Managers and Team members to conduct project audits in coordination with Finance.

Coordinate project resources, including project managers, technical experts, and other staff, to ensure that project objectives are met.

Eight (8) years’ experience in a PMO leadership

Proven experience leading and managing PMO teams

Program management knowledge and experience

Responsible for billability of project management team

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required

Delivery and management of technical and strategic projects and programs

Advanced reporting and program-level financial management

Deliver and manage technical and strategic project/programs

· Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of IT project & program management experience

· Portfolio, program, and project management methodologies, methods, road-mapping, and metrics development.

10+ years as senior project manager delivering projects for the e-commerce websites and supporting internal systems.

· Experience in process development and driving continuous improvement

· Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation, and listening skills; ability to articulate the big picture.

Working closely within the Facilities division senior management to ensure that a continuum of quality products and performance is attained.

The Incumbent must have the ability to apply the latest standards in construction project management and quality assurance.

Familiarity with Microsoft Projectmates documentation system, ATG database management system.

Providing professional direction and oversight for project managers and construction activities for all new construction and renovations.

In lieu of a degree, 14 years' direct experience in managing new construction, renovations, alterations, in a large healthcare facility setting.

Experience with Enterprise Project Management systems preferred

15+ years direct work experience in an project management or director capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution

Proven leadership and management skills

Works in tandem with top management to achieve corporate objectives by directing and leading one or more project teams

Experience in managing project managers in matrix organization
