The Senior Inventory Accountant is responsible for overseeing the inventory accounting process, including the maintenance of accurate inventory records, the preparation of financial statements, and the analysis of inventory trends. The Senior Inventory Accountant is also responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly valued and accounted for in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Senior Inventory Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintaining accurate inventory records, including the tracking of inventory levels, costs, and pricing.
• Preparing financial statements and reports related to inventory.
• Analyzing inventory trends and making recommendations for improvement.
• Ensuring that inventory is properly valued and accounted for in accordance with GAAP.
• Developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
• Monitoring inventory levels and making adjustments as needed.
• Working with other departments to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
