  • Above average computer skills
  • Punctual regular attendance 35-45 hours weekly, plus on-call rotation
  • Learn and become a strong user of all IT systems
  • Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month and year end processes
  • Positive, can-o attitude and willingness to shift responsibilities as needed to support the team
  • Process pump station sales and invoice customers; become our pump station system expert!
  • Act as a backup for other members of the Accounting Team and other departments within the Company
  • Assist with daily costing of fuel products
  • Willing to assist with projects and offer ideas and creative solutions
  • Process fuel delivery tickets and invoice customers
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver a high quality work product
Requirements
SKILLS -Strong in Microsoft Windows and Office with advanced skills in Excel. keyboarding, ability to use standard office machines, general accounting skills, excellent communication skills. Quickbooks experience a plus.
ABILITIES - honesty, inquisitiveness, logic, flexibility, pride in your work well done, caring demeanor (customers, coworkers, communities, environment), empathy, work as part of a team or independently, good sense of humor, good time management and prioritization
WORK ENVIRONMENT - fast-paced office environment, temperature fluctuations in an older building, some person-to-person interactions
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS - sit or stand at computer terminal 6-8 hours per day, perform simultaneous tasks, communicate via computer, phone, in person
LICENSING / CREDENTIALS - none
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE - previous accounting experience and education preferred; experience in the fuel industry a HUGE plus!
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS - frequent feedback, annual review, attainment of annual goals established between supervisor and incumbent
