Senior Equity Research Associate Jobs

Communicate with internal sales force, institutional clients and company management teams

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance or other quantitative focus

1-2 years Equity Research experience preferred

Experience in the Consumer sector helpful but not necessary

Create and maintain earnings, valuation, and industry models leveraging skills in general data analysis, accounting, finance, and economics.

Develop and maintain relationships with investor relations personnel and management of companies under coverage.

The candidate should have 1+ years of professional experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and/or the retail industry.

Experience utilizing Excel to build and/or maintain financial models; an advanced level of Excel proficiency is ideal.

Experience writing in a professional capacity (e.g. crafting equity research notes/correspondence); presentation and/or development of industry reports.

PowerPoint skills are required, but not a large component of the everyday work.

· Outstanding analytical skills. Ability to do deep primary research, analyze and draw conclusions from information.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· If no Ph.D. or M.D., clear interest in medicine/biological sciences through University level coursework

· MBA or CFA, or clear demonstration of financial modeling and valuation methodologies through coursework

· Strong sense of integrity

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements

· Work in partnership with the senior analyst to conduct extensive company and industry research

B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or similar field with 1+ year of product innovation experience or analytical lab experience

Experience with GCMS (TOF, single quad, FID)

Experience with analytical methods of sample preparation for analysis

Strong chemical intuition and knowledge of flavor chemistry

Experience in designing experiments, data analysis, data interpretation, and communication results to fellow researchers

Experience with innovative research and development projects

Knowledge and experience with standard molecular and biochemical laboratory techniques, especially multi-color flow cytometry, Incucyte analysis, and ELISAs.

Experience or familiarity with immune cell assays, T cell immunology, and/or cancer biology is a plus.
