Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management, Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Familiar on the use of management systems (ISO 14001, 45001)

2+ Years of Experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety

Experience working independently with an analytical approach

Ability to manage a high variety of different projects and initiatives

Candidate should have at least 2 years of progressive Ergonomics, Safety, and/or Industrial experience in high speed manufacturing environment

Plan, coordinate, and implement health and safety procedures and programs

Coordinate, maintain and recommend work cell improvements (design/redesign) in an effort to reduce recordables and improve productivity

Plan and coordinate safety training for new, internal, and external employees

Evaluate safety and ergonomic viability of new and existing processes

Ensure appropriate and required safety training is complete and properly documented for all associates

Have a working knowledge of all operating department processes and the hazards associated with all equipment and tasks

Maintain all OSHA recordkeeping requirements and serve as alternate host for OSHA Compliance visits

Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety and/or environmental role

Demonstrated knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (including OSHA, ADEM, EPA)

Ability to prioritize work in a high demand work environment and effectively manage projects to completion

Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to be decisive, proactive and strategic in decision making
