Conduct legal product reviews and maintain an inventory of features, technology, data, and compliance requirements.

10 or more years applicable experience; admission to a state bar.

In-house experience as a product counsel at a technology company with artificial intelligence/machine-learning experience strongly preferred (bonus points for SaaS experience).

Sense of humor, excellent interpersonal skills, business judgment, strategic thinking, superior work ethic, flexibility and ability to work independently.

Understand and stay up to date on U.S. and international laws and regulations related to Zoom’s products and services.

Provide pragmatic day to day and strategic advice to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

Ensure that all contracts are consistent with internal corporate policies, revenue recognition requirements, processes, and risk tolerances.

12 + years combined experience (which may be a combination of law firm and in-house legal department experience).

Experience supporting SaaS or cloud organizations and related revenue recognition concepts and issues.

Experience with state, federal, and international data privacy and security laws and related contract provisions.

Ability to manage multiple clients’ demands and projects with shifting priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Driving measurable efficiencies in investigative matter management, including with regard to budgets for external counsel and forensic/discovery-related needs

Developing sustainable investigative capabilities and processes for GE Vernova’s investigative needs, including through training and talent development

Investigative experience in a common law and/or civil law jurisdiction and exposure to working in diverse, complex markets

Demonstrated ability to manage complex investigations carrying governmental enforcement risk

Investigative experience in one or more of the following areas:

Ability to work independently in an evolving, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work

Strong legal writing ability; analytical skills and transactional experience

At least 10 years’ experience as a practicing attorney gained in either a law firm or corporate environment

General familiarity with business laws and legal compliance requirements

Good presentation and communication skills, ability to deliver training effectively
