Experience with Datacenter migration and onboarding new customers

What success looks like in this role:

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Experience with configuration management software: Chef, Salt, Puppet, Ansible, etc

Strong experience managing server operating systems with code-based configuration management, specifically Terraform and Chef

Experience in Windows and core infrastructure support including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, .NET, and Remote Desktop infrastructure

Strong experience managing server operating systems with a configuration-as-code approach

Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Codestar, or similar

Experience deploying and scaling the AWS cloud platform

Strong hands-on experience with vSphere, esxi , vRops , vRealize life cycle manager , VCF on VxRail & vSAN .

Develops complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications.

Solid working knowledge of VMware virtualization, architecture, design & configuration

Experience in VMware-based virtual infrastructures preferred.

Experience with administrating vRealize suite of applications to include scale-out, scale-up, patching and break\fix work.

Good Experience with implementing Disaster recovery solution.

Experience managing data centers, ensuring availability, capacity management, and implementation of processes.

Excellent partner management, follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.

Plan or implement change management activities, fleet wide having Dell compute, Cisco data center networking and VMWare solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

13 years of experience with systems administration, systems development engineering, or similar industries.

Experience with a complete stack of VMWare Suite of products (e.g., vCenter, NSX, vSAN, vMotion, HSX etc.).

Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions and review.

3+ years hands-on experience in the following areas Terraform, Ansible, Docker

Experience with Kubernetes and/or experience with other technologies such as Service Mesh, Rancher, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) a plus.

Experience with Azure Administration a plus

Work within a scrum team to deliver on projects and delivery of products for SITA’s private Cloud using Cloud technologies.
