Responsibilities for identification, documentation, segregation, evaluation and disposition of non-conforming products / services/ systems

Expedite and reschedule to meet customer requirements

Code and identify purchasing and production scheduling to meet customer demands and to maintain proper inventory levels.

Administrative reports and database management experience is highly required.

Must have effective verbal and written (email) communication skills.

Manages time efficiently and demonstrates the ability to multi-task to meet to all deadline expectations.

Some college, technical training, or extensive work experience required.

Over 5+ years as a Senior Buyer or Purchasing Lead.

Concentration in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Law

Coordinates with Project Management, Construction Management, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Insurance during project execution

Accountable to the Project Procurement Manager, Project Management, the project Buyer or other designated Supply Management project lead

Effectiveness of relationships with suppliers, management

Works with project personnel to plan and support Supply Management execution for the project

Assures compliance with Supply Management policies and procedures and brings any non-compliance issues to the attention of management

Strong time and project management skills

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

Prioritize and respond to ERP messages to effectively manage the flow of material to enable the organization to meet customer demand

Manage incoming material to minimize expedited freight

Diligently manage the procurement of material to achieve strategically targeted inventory levels

8+ years purchasing experience for manufacturing environment

Buying experience within Healthcare industry,preferred.

• Effectively manages expenditures to reduce the total cost of ownership of material acquisitions.

3+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management role

Organize multiple projects, including schedule, risk management, and problem-solving

Other supply chain related activities, such as coordinating logistics and inventory management

Communicate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet schedules and requirements in CapEx projects

Build and manage strategic supplier relationships

Ability to organize and manage projects and do multi-tasking
