It Security Operation Engineer Jobs

Provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management on security operations, incidents, and trends.

Ideal Candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Manage a team of security professionals, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and mentoring.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric approach.

In-depth knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices.

Conduct annual Firewall rule review and monitor Firewall rule change management;

Varies per projects/incidents (IT, Business, Management, etc)

Evolve the Security function by continuous assessment of our risks, threats & vulnerabilities;

Function as the Backup for IT Sec Engineering Manager;

Reports to the IT Security Engineering Manager

Prepare, organize, conduct & follow-up on vulnerability scans and remediation on all scopes;

• Proficiency in performing security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management leveraging Fortinet tools and resources.

• Configure, manage, and monitor Fortinet security technologies, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiClient.

• Ability to analyze complex technical environments, identify security vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate solutions using Fortinet technologies.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities with reliable transportation.

College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Support the development of Information Security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements.

Experience in incident response preferred

Knowledgeable in network technologies and enterprise security

Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, MS365, and Azure cloud preferred

Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate countermeasures.

At least 3 years of experience working in a cyber security role.

Knowledge of network security technologies, Windows and Linux system security, APP security etc.

Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
