Security Event Staff Jobs

Maintain a safe and professional environment during special events.

Must maintain excellent customer service practices, be observant, enforce venue policies follow event staff leadership direction.

Minimum of 18 years of age

While performing duties, staff member's core function may involve standing for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to work a minimum of 2-3 events per month.

Work flexible hours that includes nights and weekends.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions

Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours at a time

Security requirements will be as follows:

Any other projects as assigned by the Manager.

Performs regular safety checks of the property in accordance with established procedures.

Handles customer problems and complaints.

Turn in all property keys and “sign” them back in prior to leaving the store.

Background and experience with training, workshop, and exercise management and logistics

Monitor crowd for behavior that needs to be addressed by venue management or law enforcement personnel.

Security/Law Enforcement experience not required.

Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests and other persons.

Manage, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of event operations to meet customer requirements and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Minimum of 1-3 years of professional-level experience, preferably in security, event staffing, law enforcement, or the military.

Previous experience in customer service, event security, or a related field is required.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.

Strong visual abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Immediately manage any incidents of crime or other activities of a significant nature impacting the festival

Must have 2 years experience as a Security Supervisor

Are you an experienced Security Supervisor?

Provide needed breaks to festival Security Officers as assigned by the Supervisor

Closely monitor the festival security radio channel

Follow proper COVID safety practices at all times

Experience driving projects with minimal supervision, goal driven individual with good technical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Identify, educate, and remediate vulnerabilities in code using SAST/DAST/SCA

Experience fully owning epics with decreasing guidance

Experience operating in a Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance, and resolving issues.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Application Security, providing guidance to Engineering and Product teams

Responsible for adhering to secure coding principles and aid in testing the application against security risk/parameters before release

Complete policy and procedure documentation and management.

Knowledgeable of environment, health, and safety guidelines in relationship to risk mitigation.

Knowledgeable of protection strategies, tactics, and technology.

Strong strategic and operational skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.

8+ years of relevant experience plus a BA/BS in a relevant field, 6+ years if MS/MA/MBA
