Ready to join our seasonal events team? We are expanding our special events team for a very busy season of big events. Our events team is the heart and soul of our operation. Collectively, this team is responsible for the successful production of all of our events.Garfield Park Summer Concerts, HI-FI Annex and many more. Ready to join our team? We're seeking reliable, hardworking and experienced (preferred) individuals.
Ideal candidates must have passion for live music, patience under pressure and a keen sense of customer service. Hardworking, dependable and trustworthy top our list of traits required by this role. Additionally, we are ambassadors to the experience of our customers. As such, everyone on our team must possess deliver a high-level of customer service - regardless of the role that you are working.
All positions carry a competitive hourly wage which varies by position and experience. Seasonal and part-time positions revolve around the dates of our events and the days before and after the events allowing you to plan your schedules in advance. These positions provide a great entry point that can lead to future opportunities within our companies. Our hiring process has begun and we are scheduling interviews now.

Type: Part Time | Event-based | Seasonal
Event Setup & Strike Teams often work pre-post show hours and must be able to comfortably lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Safety & Security Teams pride themselves on their protective instincts, customer service, and the safety of our customers, artists and staff. As such, security roles carry an additional set of requirements and training.
Responsibilities

• Ticket scanning & promotional material distribution
• Customer service and way finding
• Ensure customers leave with a positive experience
• Pre and post-show room setup, light cleaning and general labor
• Ensure customers leave with a positive experience
• On and off-site errands and deliveries
• Crowd control (Security)
• De-escalate stressful or volatile interactions (Security)
• Check customer identification for age verification (Security)

Qualifications

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to work in extreme conditions including high heat
• Must be 18 years of age or older, some positions require 21+
• Minimum 1 year of security related experience is preferred (Security)
• High School diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

• Varies by location, special events
• Indoor and outdoor events, outdoor events can often be more labor intensive
• Event days are often long days and subject to weather constraints which can include heat, rain and other unforeseen elements
