Securities Litigation Paralegal Jobs in Arkansas

Analyze discovery requests for personal injury product and premises litigation

Assist the Director of Claims and Litigation and outside defense counsel in gathering information for document production and interrogatories

Maintain calendars of response deadlines for personal injury and premises litigation and demand letters

Identify and contact individuals with responsive documents/information and conduct electronic searches of internal files

Provide support for the execution of affidavits, declarations, and discovery verifications

Staff supervision and development: Not required

3+ years of legal experience

Strong skills in word processing and computer use: ability to type 65 wpm with high accuracy

Excellent grammar, proofreading and organizational skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong customer service, analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Previous experience in a law firm or professional services organization, supporting a multi-office environment, preferred

Assist with management of outside counsel and legal budgets.

Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence in legal databases and contract management tools.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with IP technology, IP protection and contracts.

5-7 years in house experience.

Experience working on federal litigation (Patent Litigation a plus).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Handle complex case management for ITC and federal district court litigation including discovery, research, Markman hearings and trial preparation and attendance;

Excellent data entry and organizational skills;

Manage all trial preparation and support activity, including post-trial;

Coordinate and manage large electronic discovery collections and productions using document review tools, like Relativity;

Meet the firm’s paralegal billable-hours requirement; and,

Experience in all phases of IP-litigation, including case assessment, discovery and motions practice, depositions, working with experts, and appeals;
