Develops, designs, and executes experiments, sometimes complex, to support research, feasibility, and product development and qualification efforts .

Presents findings/analyses and any associated issues/solutions to peer groups, managers and/or clients; makes recommendations for project advancement.

Leads protein engineering programs to accomplish goals and manages/coordinates work of other team members.

Minimum of 6 years of laboratory experience.

Extensive experience in various protein engineering methods and molecular biology techniques.

Experience using automation for high-throughput antibody screening.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.

Provide scientific guidance and mentorship to junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Strong publication record demonstrating scientific contributions in the field of cell biology and/or immunology.

Knowledge and experience implementing curriculum and school operations;

Experience with and knowledge of analytical methods used in the characterization and understanding of cell therapy products

Experience with clinical phase appropriate regulatory requirements in manufacturing from early to registrational trials

Experience in developing cell therapy products

Advanced cell culture techniques with preference for experience with primary T cells

Extensive experience with developing and transferring clinical manufacturing programs

Experience with unit operations applied in the development of processes for manufacture of genetically engineered T cell based therapeutic products

Experience with and/or knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Excellent time management and proven ability to complete projects on time
