Experience as a police officer or security officer, preferably in a college setting.
Customer relations and/or public speaking experience.

Overview School Campus Security Officers are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on school campuses. They patrol the grounds, monitor security cameras, and respond to emergencies. They also provide assistance to students, faculty, and staff, and may be required to enforce school policies. Detailed Job Description School Campus Security Officers are responsible for patrolling the grounds of a school campus, monitoring security cameras, and responding to emergencies. They must be familiar with the layout of the campus and be able to identify any suspicious activity. They must be able to identify and report any safety hazards or violations of school policy. They must also be able to provide assistance to students, faculty, and staff, and may be required to enforce school policies. Job Skills Required
