Knowledge of NASA policy and procedures, including laboratory operation, configuration control/management, and safety & mission assurance.

Document closeout risks and report status to Logistics Lead and SOFIA Project Manager weekly.

High School Diploma and 7 years of related experience.

Excellent written and oral skills. Proactive communicator.

Knowledge of SOFIA technical and science systems, personnel, facilities, and aircraft operational environment.

Review project property for information on reuse, disposition and sale of property going through the excess process.

Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that align with Program Management strategy and goals.

BS degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent technical discipline with 5-10 years of experience that led to increasing levels of responsibilities.

Prior experience successfully working with multiple customers and/or stakeholders in parallel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Identify, evaluate, and recommend innovative methodologies and tools and/or platforms that support strategic initiatives.

Assist with benchmarking activities, including the analysis of trends and report out of data systems.

Manage water quality in assigned exhibits and holding tanks

Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide daily care of assigned exhibits and life support

Maintain visual quality in exhibits

Works as assigned by the Diving Supervisor to ensure the safe and successful completion of all diving operations.

Performs such tasks topside and underwater as directed by the Diving supervisor.

Obeys all commands or signals to return to the surface immediately.

Reports any physical problems that may be encountered to the Diving Supervisor prior to and after any dive.

Follows all safe diving procedures in accordance with the Diving Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs.

Must be organized with good time management skills.

Must have 1 year of diving experience/approximately 25 logged dives.

Must have a Certification in the field of Diving (PADI, NAUI).

Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.

Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
