10 or more years in Accounting and Finance within corporate or public accounting

BS in Accounting or Finance

This is a HYBRID role.

5+ years of accounting manager experience, preferably in real estate residential accounting for a large, national homebuilder.

Prepare, maintain, and evaluate various general ledger accounts and reports.

Review trial balance reconciliations and direct the Accounting team to process adjustments as needed.

Review business unit's monthly financial statements for actual vs. budgeted results.

Explain variances and incorporate changes needed for monthly call future projections.

Work with plant Business Unit Managers to identify areas of needed efficiency

10+ years accounting experience; Manufacturing industry required

Strong tech skills including ERP and Excel

Ensures that the close and reporting processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsible for prep and review of financials and monthly reporting required, along with forecasting and budget support.

Perform monthly cost variance analyses and explanations

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Email management - Personal, Info & Reservations.

Knowledge of all rates, packages and promotions currently offered

Perform any other duties as assigned by Director of Revenue or Front Office/Upper Management.

Collaborate with Tyme Global Agents and Data Entry.

Knowledge of entire Reservation Procedure according to the Knickerbocker, Highgate and Leading Hotels of the World.

Attend, participate in and occasionally lead required meetings or training events and perform other tasks as requested by management.

Demonstrate strong work ethic and proven leadership skills with the ability to make decisions to best serve our guest and employees

Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

You have prior guest service or customer service experience.

You have basic computer and math skills to enter data, read, and interpret information.

Monitor room category and bedding availability, up to three days in advance, in order to prevent overbooking.

Monitor rollaway, microwave and other amenity requests up to seven days in advance in order to ensure availability.

Review all group resumes and ensures all appropriate information is communicated to other Team Members and make room blocks accordingly.
