Residential Youth Worker Overnight Shift Jobs

Strong time-management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

One or more years of work experience in residential treatment program;

Ensure young people who are aging out can access and maintain stable, affordable housing and build independent living skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Serves as youth’s supervisor with responsibility for the safety, personal conduct, and care of the youth, providing therapeutic interventions.

Maintains security in buildings, grounds, and other posts; intervenes during emergencies or crisis situations.

Already hold a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Services, Community Services or similar

Planning, assisting and engaging in suitable activities with the young person

Being a part of a wider team who work collaboratively to help with young person achieving their personal goals

Promoting good hygiene and good nutrition with young person

Completing daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports

In residential programs, assists with household responsibilities which may include, but is not limited to, cleaning and organizing communal areas.

Conducts file reviews and assists with electronic data entry.

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Moderate degree of pinch strength and ability to handle pills

Gripping the force of 80 lbs. to perform restraint procedure

Lifting laundry bags up to 20 lbs.

Manipulating bed sheets off and on a mattress

Lower clients to floor during restraints (70 lbs.)
