Overview Residential or Journeyman Electricians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. They must be knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes to ensure that all electrical work is done safely and correctly. Detailed Job Description Residential or Journeyman Electricians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and other electrical components. They must be knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes to ensure that all electrical work is done safely and correctly. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine the best way to install and repair electrical systems. Job Skill Requirements

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program
• Valid driver’s license
