Residential Electrician Jobs

KEP a division of IES Residential is currently seeking Residential Electricians. The Residential Electrician installs, alters, adds and/or repairs electrical systems in New Construction Residential homes.

Location Indianapolis, Indiana with jobsites in and around the Indianapolis area

Hours Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of and complies with company safety rules and procedures
• Reports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutions
• Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
• Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood
• Attend in class instruction
• Complete house rough in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
• Install plugs, lights, and other fixtures

High School

2-4

• Experience in New Construction Residential
• Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
• Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds
• Valid Driver’s License
• Electrical License Apprentice, Wireman, or Journeyman
