Remote Payroll Manager Jobs in Massachusetts

Project Management skills with proven success leading projects.

Manage and escalate payroll and benefit related issues to third parties and work with each to ensure timely resolution.

Review and maintain payroll policies and procedures to comply with SOX requirements; recommend and execute process improvements.

A self-starter with strong analytical, decision-making and attention to detail skills required.

High degree of ethics and ability to manage confidential information.

Experience working with Microsoft Office products, including proficiency with Excel.

Proficiency in Payroll modules for data entry and reporting. Experience with Paycom or similar payroll and HRIS system, a plus.

Respond to inquiries, questions, and feedback from staff, faculty, and students regarding payroll information and benefits related deduction issues.

Maintain up to date knowledge on compliance issues related to wage and tax matters.

Bachelor’s degree required with professional payroll processing and/or related business experience.

Thorough knowledge of payroll principles, technology, methods and procedures.

Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
