Required Education And/or Experience Qualifications

Strong Data Entry/Typing Skills with a high degree of accuracy.

Remote Centralized Schedulers shall perform remote centralized scheduling functional tasks telephonically or via email.

Maintain current schedules of remote clinical counseling appointments in the assigned area.

Screen and connect distraught or potentially difficult callers to a Remote Clinical Counselor or a Remote Clinical Counseling Supervisor.

Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

Effectively monitor and manage care teams, ensuring appropriate follow-up

Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Proficient written and verbal communication skills with multicultural sensitivity.

Schedule appointments, for both clinic and procedures, using protocol established within the department

Conduct “reminder calls” to ensure patients arrive for appointments and are on time.

Call patients to reschedule if they no-show for an appointment, particularly if they are high risk.
