4+ years insurance related experience

Secure, review, and track furnished subcontractor payment and performance bonds to ensure compliance with the subcontract agreement.

Support in ensuring proper risk transfer as it relates to subcontractor coverages, limits and endorsements.

Recommend any necessary improvements to the current administrative process regarding insurance.

Generate a weekly report for subcontractor payment and performance bonds.

Experience with Vertafore agency management systems (preferred)

Identify additional client needs, and offer solution based services

Minimum one year of independent insurance experience

Ensure we are meeting contractual obligations to clients including time worked

Communicate regularly, proactively, and effectively with Leadership, internal staff, and clients

Verify that client work has been completed accurately and in a timely manner

Communicate daily with management about payer trends identified. (5%)

Collects out-of-pocket liabilities from patients upfront and applies, adjusts, and reconciles daily point- of-service cash reports

Performs other clerical duties as assigned by Manager, Patient Access and/or supervisor(s)

Requires two to three years of demonstrated hospital and patient accounts experience

Experience in basic computer software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Intermediate motor abilities for the operation of calculator, typewriter, and computer terminal. Accuracy is essential.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

At least 5 years relevant, regulatory compliance experience.

Provide guidance to the business on required changes to new products, services, and geographies.

Must have had at least 4 years electronic billing and/or billing editing experience in a hospital and/or physician office setting.

General Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT-4 and ICD9-10 coding and/or medical terminology.

Familiar with multiple payer requirements and regulations for claims processing

Solid Microsoft Office skills required.

Good communication skills and the ability to courteously interact with multiple departments within SRHS

5+years billing experience in a hospital and/or physician billing setting.

High school diploma or equivalent education, training and work-related experience

Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience within the P&C insurance industry.

Previous accounting or billing experience, ideally within insurance.

Demonstrate advanced insurance and product knowledge with a high level of technical skills

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused call center environment

Demonstrate strong skills in the use of PC applications such as Microsoft Office

Accurately obtain the necessary information to process and submit prior authorization requests.

Utilize phone calls for prior authorization submission only when unable to perform on portals.

Accurately update insurance information, authorization status, and any other pertinent information before sending all radiology exams to be scheduled.
