Utilizing sound drug knowledge to effectively receive prescription authorizations, clarifications or transfers.

Exceptional customer service skills; servicing doctor’s office, pharmacist, and patient needs over the phone.

Knowledge of appropriate processes in taking prescriptions, clarifications and transfers including clear written and verbal communication.

Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Prior experience in a pharmacy setting

APICS CSCP or CPM certification preferred

Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility a plus

Executes supply and inventory plans and tracks production schedules for clinical trial materials.

Monitors schedule adherence of production schedules and makes course corrections if needed.

Maintains an accurate, effective, and efficient clinical material tracking for all active clinical trials assigned

Coordinates and tracks bulk shipments to CMOs, depots, and vendors. Maintains and tracks import licenses renewals.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Associates degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience is preferred

1 - 3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred

1 to 3 years of PC skills (MS Word, Excel) proficiency is preferred

Resolve issues and complaints in a timely manner.

Handles inbound phone requests and gathers member data to provide information for Pharmacist consultations.

Deep understanding of clinical operations and study management processes.

Extensive knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements.

At least 7 years of relevant clinical experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar organization.

Strong abilities in cross-functional team leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and influencing.

Lead and coordinate a cross-functional study team to ensure successful study delivery.

Act as the main liaison between the study team and the Clinical Program Team.

Assist Team Leader(s) in monitoring and oversight of incoming work flow queues (telephone/fax/e-mail), work distribution, and process management

Minimum one (1) year managed care experience is required

Computer proficient with knowledge and experience in a “Windows” environment

Excellent leadership experience and skills

Assist Team Leader in ongoing education and communication of changes to Pharmacy Techs

Will utilize self-opportunities for all skill sets

3-5 years of work experience,, preferred

1-3 years of PC skills, MS Word & Excel preferred

1 year of customer service

Basic project management skills and ability to drive deadlines

Solid self-management and time management skills

Ensure accountability and engagement of all roles in the issue management process

Proactively keep the management team apprised of the team’s performance related to issue management

Minimum of two (2) years of issue, project, or process management required

Minimum of one (1) year managed care, PBM, or other relevant experience required

Performs various and basic computer functions / database management

Files and retrieves various pharmacy records as required and / or requested by the pharmacist

Work independently - Responds to questions not requiring a pharmacists' professional judgment

Attends to customers/nonprofessional calls in a courteous and timely manner

Serves as liaison between the client and pharmacist

Recognizes departures from the norm and discusses with pharmacist
