Detailed Job Description Rehab Assistants are responsible for providing support to physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals. They help patients with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities to improve their quality of life. Rehab Assistants may also provide administrative support to the rehabilitation team. They may assist with patient assessments, document patient progress, and provide patient education. They may also help with the implementation of treatment plans, assist with exercises, and provide emotional support to patients. Job Skills Required Rehab Assistants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work well with a variety of people, including patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. They should also have strong organizational and time management skills. They should also have a valid certification in the field of rehabilitation, such as a Certified Rehabilitation Assistant (CRA) or Certified Rehabilitation Technician (CRT).
