Registered Nurse Wound Care Per Diem Jobs in Georgia

If you are relying on your education to meet qualification requirements:

Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

Wound and Ostomy Certification preferred

3-5 years Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience preferred

Minimum of 3 years wound care assessment and treatment experience preferred

Certification in Wound and Ostomy required within 3 years if not currently certified

Obtains referrals for other skilled services as indicated.

Provides emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Follows all Hospice policies and procedures and ensures compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations and JCAHO requirements.

Completes all required professional education including continuing nursing education hours and mandatory in-services to maintain professional licensure.

Performs other related job duties as assigned.

Assesses patient and develops plan of care, establishes mutually agreed upon goals with the patient, caregivers, and/or family members.
