Registered Nurse Rn Dialysis Jobs in Nevada

This position reports directly to the Dialysis Program Manager or Dialysis Supervisor for the respective facility.

Current CPR certification through American Heart Association.

Minimum 1 year dialysis experience in an acute care or chronic setting preferred.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required.

Documents, evaluates and implements dialysis orders.

Analyzes patient assessments, dialysis orders, laboratory results and discusses issues with the nephrologist.

Maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS

You will be responsible for overseeing instrument and equipment set up

You will update preference cards, when necessary

Reviews patient’s medical record and needs, to provide continuity of care collaboratively, with other members of the healthcare team

Provides comfort and reassurance to patient

Maintains patient’s privacy and dignity

Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills.

Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Eight years combined of Critical Care and Cardiac experience

Cath Lab, EP, and IR experience preferred
