Experience with property management software

Analyze and evaluate personnel needs throughout the region, including management, leasing, and service personnel. Serve as final authority for hiring decisions.

Train Community Manager in sound fiscal management and fiscal responsibility.

Provide Community Managers with direction to achieve financial performance goals; actively maintains budgetary control and restraint.

Hire, train, and mentor Community Managers in all aspects of operations.

Review/approve salary adjustments from on-site personnel, upon recommendation from Community Manager.

Maintain a general knowledge of any transaction in markets under management.

3 - 5 years of experience in multi-family property management required

5 - 7 years of people management experience

Institutional investor and/or 3rd party management experience required

Oversee execution of proactive and timely reputation management strategies via social media – ratings, reviews, responses

Proficiency with property management software platforms, preferably Yardi

Knowledge of various property management systems and tools (ie, OneSite, SmartRent, Salesforce etc.)

Lead and develop a team of Community Managers & their teams.

5+ years of experience leading a large team of people in competitive sales and customer service environment

Up to 100% Reimbursement on Professional Certification/Licensing for Job Related Curriculums.

Provide exemplary service to residents and team members

Responsible for the property budget, increasing revenue, and achievement of operational and financial goals

Oversee and manage the day to day activities of multiple properties

Identify property maintenance requirements, solicit, review, negotiate and execute maintenance contracts

Develop and manage expense budgets

Manage the centers within the approved budgets

Oversee, manage and budget Capital Expenditures

Manage and mentor Assistant Property Managers

The base compensation rate will vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location, as applicable.

Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

The salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - 125,000.00.

10+ year(s) of previous experience in multi-family property management with supervisory experience of 1000+ units.

Strong administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Previous experience with OneSite preferred.

Must have reliable transportation as necessary to safely and effectively carry out the responsibilities listed above.

Must be project oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

A Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of progressive property management experience

Strong leadership, management, and supervisory skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse employee base

Managing and directing the property management and resident services staff in areas such as hiring, supervising, coaching, and professional development

2 or more years in a management or supervisory position

Proficiency in Yardi or other comparable software management software
